Operation Write Home update

I am so excited about Operation Write Home and how it can impact our Hero's!  So far I've made Valentine and All Occasion cards.  I'm really looking forward to sending my first box.

If you are not crafty, I am looking for letters I can include in the boxes.  A thank you note would mean so much to them.  Maybe you can get your local school or church involved.  You don't have to mail them to me, you can send your own box to OWH.  Check their website for the address nearest to you.

Operation Write Home

This isn't Willow House related but feel it is important enough to share here...

Sending a Challenge to all my Crafty friends....I just found a great cause that will use up all your scraps and make you feel good at the same time. Operation Write Home is a fabulous project to send Handmade Cards to our troops so they have something to send home to their families. Since they can't exactly run out to Hallmark, this ...is a super idea. They are starting to accept Valentine's Day cards but are always looking for General Themes (Birthday, Thank You, Missing You, Thinking of You, Love, Anniversary...etc)


Now that my Crafting room is finally-officially finished..I am going to start using the thousands of scraps to make cards and send to this Project.
